Shift chemists oversee all areas of production to ensure compliance with CropLife International (ECPA) guidelines, GMP, ISO standards and other regulations. We also hold a manufacturing licence issued by the Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD), which allows us to manufacture specialist internal and external veterinary medicines.

It is essential that our customers can trust us with their intellectual property. Quality in Production
Full Batch Traceability
Full on-site traceability of all our manufactured batches and materials is fundamental to the way we operate at Safapac. The batch traceability measures in place allow us to trace all products back to their origins and mean that a full history of operations and components is available. Subsequently, we are able to instil the upmost confidence in our customers when manufacturing and packing their goods. Information is kept ‘live’ through our bespoke ERP system, enabling us to provide customers answers to the status of their order every time they call, without the wait.
Samples and extensive batch records are kept of all product manufactured and packed.
CropLife guideline compliance – Segregation
When it comes to the potential for cross contamination of products, we follow the tightest practices, ensuring our plants are fully segregated where necessary. In line with these CropLife rules and due to the nature of chemical potency, Safapac has two separate formulation plants for the production of herbicides and non-herbicides, and a third plant in a seperate building for high potency products. A rigorous clean down procedure of equipment takes place between campaigns, this is then confirmed and verified by analytical tests. This means our customer have the maximum confidence in our capabilities and product quality.
